"Jewish Women" was our second single form the first album, after "Spring in your heart".

Like the first single, Earsay manager Eli Hayun suggested to include unreleased tracks in this single, and so we did.

First song on the Single is Jewish women single edit, which means no pizzicato intro, and no trumpet and accordion solos. Just a 3:54 song for the radio.

Second was the new song - "The oldest Woman" which was composed and arranged after the CD was recorded. We performed it on our CD launch show, and loved it very much so we decided to include the live version in the Single CD. By the time we got to "A Different Story" we already decided to go more rock pop indie or call it what you like, in favor of Balkan  cabaret, theatrical style, so this song which was also recorded on the first demo for the second CD was never officially released. This is kind of a pity for it is one of Panic's most beloved song. BTW we find this version very slow in tempo nowadays, it got faster and faster through the years.

Third song is an acoustic version of "thoughts", another beloved song of Panic which was never officially released. We recorded it for the first CD and for the Second CD again, and in both recordings got the feeling that it is not the right version and we can't transfer the live performance to the studio. Anyway, we were invited to play at 106fm radio show "Assafsonic" with Assaf Ben Kereth, and performed some acoustic version, "Thoughts" was the highlight of this recording which included : Yael(vocals), Roy(marimba keys), Noa(percussions), Omer(acoustic guitar and lead vocals), Dirk (vocals and some kind of flute)  and Galia (Irish viola)

Last one is an interesting experiment - We took two songs from our launch show performance, first was Agoraphobia - A duet Yehu Yaron and Galia Hai used to play live, an improvise "Battle" between viola and double bass, and the second was a small song from "Nighthawks" called "Once", but only the instrumental part (including a great guitar solo by Omer). We mixed them together at the studio to create this unique song.

Hope you enjoy this rare single.
